What is an AIF®?

An investment fiduciary plays a major role in the lives of others: He or she is charged with managing the assets of another person and therefore stands in a special relationship of trust, confidence, stewardship, and/or legal responsibility.

Fiduciaries are legally required to act in the best interest of their clients, beneficiaries, or retirement plan participants. Those who have gone the extra mile to earn their Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) designation through the Fi360 training program are intimately acquainted with fiduciary practices.

They are also well known in the industry for their ability to implement prudent processes into their daily investment practices. For this reason, the AIF was named by Financial Planner magazine as one of the Ten Most Wanted designations in the financial profession.

In addition to completing an arduous training program, AIF designees must pass a final exam, conform to a code of ethics, and fulfill annual continuing education requirements.
